08 Jul Trip to OKC
We recently went down to Oklahoma City for the day. A childhood friend had her twin daughters’ first birthday party, our friend Adam was in town with Cessna and we met up with my dad and step-mom.
These three …. love them!
The boys have never been inside an airplane….it took a few minutes but they eventually warmed to it.
I’m sure Uncle Adam and daddy will have them up in the skies before too long.
We ate with Grandpa Jim and Grandma Linda.
And after lunch we went back to their house to eat our cupcakes from the birthday party.
I remember these weeping willows when I was growing up!
We left and headed to Edmond to see my friend Katie. She made my anniversary present from Jason…I’ll have to snap a picture of it!
We were right off Route 66 so we decided to take the long way home to Tulsa and stop at Pops.
This was the boys’ first soda. They didn’t like it very much…Fynn had two sips and was done.
I enjoyed a yummy Root Beer!
I think they had more fun playing swords with their fun straws!
What a fun day! We all slept well that night.
