What to Expect

First and foremost I like to keep all photography sessions easy and laid-back. I will always capture the posed, traditional images but I thoroughly enjoy capturing raw emotion and candid moments, especially with little ones.

Prior to each session I will consult with you to select the best location as well as help pick out wardrobes. If you have specific ideas I always encourage clients to send them my way! I also like to get any information regarding ages and personalities of kiddos participating in the session through an online questionnaire.

One to two business days following your session I will post a sneak peek on Facebook and Instagram. Feel free to tag yourself along with any family. Within 14-21 business days following your session you will receive an online gallery with 45-70 images. This online gallery will be live for 7 days and will allow you  to download your image files, share with others as well as place any orders.

Maternity Sessions
I always encourage clients to plan on two outfits. I have a gorgeous cream maternity gown available to my clients as an option. I also suggest accessories! We can include dad as well as siblings and even furry babies.  Maternity sessions are usually scheduled around 32-34 weeks.

Newborn Sessions
My newborn sessions are lifestyle and I only use natural light. I come to your home and capture your new family in your element – the nursery, master bedroom, living room, etc. It is wonderful to use items that mean something to your family, for example, a rocking chair passed down from previous generations, etc. I do have a few wraps and blankets available for use as well. We will capture images of baby, baby with parents and baby with any siblings or pets you would like to include.  Plan on wearing comfortable, casual clothing in mostly neutral colors.
