06 Feb Adam + Amy Wedding | Tulsa Wedding Photographer
So so so much love for this couple and for this amazing wedding! I first met Amy with her sweet mama for coffee to discuss photographing her wedding. They described their plans for the wedding to be held at her mother’s farm just outside of Tulsa. Amy was so incredibly sweet and constantly smiling and her mother was the exact same. Amy explained that she and her fiancé lived in Australia so they were only in town for a few days so we had limited time to get some engagement pictures but we made it work – see their adorable engagement session HERE. After that session I was even more excited for their wedding day! They kept me laughing the entire session!
Amy ended up coming home to Tulsa a few months prior to the wedding so I went to visit the farm with Whitney from Erica Weddings to get familiar with the land and plans for the barn reception. This farmhouse and land are absolutely STUNNING! I listened to Whitney and Amy describe how the barn would be transformed and I knew it would be an incredible wedding. From the altar the bride’s father made to the sweet details like the groom’s socks, the bowties for the donkeys and the truck’s license plate……this wedding was so personal and memorable.
Amy and Adam are such kind people and watching them become husband and wife was such an honor. Amy’s dad had me in tears when he walked her down the aisle and gave her away. The pictures speak for themselves….such a sweet moment! The ceremony was full of laughter and tears and personal vows. While formal portraits took place, there was a cocktail hour for guests and once the reception started it was a party! The speeches were perfection, guests danced until the last song and their sparkler exit capped off one of the best weddings!
Their smiles are contagious and they made this wedding so special for not only themselves but everyone in attendance. And with family and friends from Australia we got to listen to the best accent all day and night! Enjoy these images….they are just a snippet from their wedding day!
