16 Nov Abbey + Evan | Tulsa Wedding Photographer
To say I love this couple would be an understatement! From start to finish their wedding day was one of the best days as a wedding photographer. By the end of the night my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. Not only do I love them but I love their families. The only thing I don’t like is that they don’t live in Tulsa.
We first met via FaceTime and started planning their engagement sessions. We did the first one in the fall in Stillwater and the second was in the spring at Camp Loughridge, where they would wed that summer. Every time Abbey would text me or email me with details of their wedding day, my excitement would grow and grow. This bride and groom made everything themselves…..everything down to the cake toppers and wooden signs throughout their reception. Each table at their reception was named after a city they had traveled to while dating. The best part was when they found out Pistol Pete would be able to make an appearance. Oh yeah, they love Oklahoma State University as much as I do!
Abbey and Evan had the sweetest first look that had me in tears. I helped plan her timeline to capture all formal portraits prior to the ceremony but we also allowed for some gorgeous sunset portraits following their emotional ceremony. I love how much they trusted me and took my suggestions for vendors and timeline……everything ran so smooth and they were able to truly enjoy their wedding day. And their reception was a serious party! So many people on the dance floor until the very last song. Abbey and Evan also chose to do a private last dance, which was incredibly romantic.
Their wedding day was full of love, laughter, prayer and FUN! It was so hard to narrow down so here are A LOT of pictures from one of the best days of my professional life!
